Here you can find information about me, and my research. If you are wondering about the significance of the beetles above, they are weevils from the island of La Reunion. Two weevil genera, Cratopus and Cratopopsis, have diversified extensively on La Reunion and the neighbouring island of Mauritius, and are the focus of one of my projects.

Understanding the origins of this kind of species diversity, the factors that have promoted it, and its ecological significance, underpins my interest in biology. The top left photo is Takamaka valley on La Reunion, and the bottom photo is of the Teide National Park, on the island of Tenerife.
